Answer: Your toothbrush. You will find all furnishings and housewares provided.
Everything from linens, dishes, towels and electronics to floral decor, pictures
and plants are all included.

Special items (baby cribs,
etc.) and amenities are available should you need them.
Inquire about your relocation
benefits if you are being moved by your employer. Do they cover temporary
housing? What other costs are covered?

Checklist for Extended Travel

[ ] Notify neighbors of your travel plans. Supply them with a contact
number for your self or a local relative. Put their name and phone number
in our address book.

[ ] Stop mail delivery, or have your mail forwarded to your
temporary location.

Keep your home Safe
If you have not already made arrange-ments, here are some tips to ensure your
home is safe while you are away.
Ask a neighbor or relative to keep an eye on your home.
Contact the post office and have your mail forwarded to your
temporary stay location.
Notify all newspapers to suspend delivery.
Ask your neighbors to pick up things like flyers or newspapers,
and have them put back your trash bins or other items you may have left out.
Piled up newspapers on your porch or a trash bin left out for days will attract
attention.
To make your home appear lived in, give your neighbors permission
to park in your driveway. The traffic and activity at your home will make it
seem as if someone is at home.
If you have forwarded your mail to your temporary stay location
that's great! Otherwise, have your home-contact forward your mail. Provide
them with pre-addressed large envelops and cash for postage. Remember, creditors
have a hard time seeing any reason for missing or late payments. So, be sure
your home-contact is responsible and understands the importance to you.
